These movies are not only great entertainment but also a fantastic way to get into the spirit of October and the upcoming holidays. So grab some popcorn, your favorite cozy blanket, and a DVD or Blu-ray from the library, and create your own cinematic fall experience.

Join Us for the Library Crawl:

We’re excited to be part of the Library Crawl again this year! This event runs the entire month of October and includes 158 libraries across IHLS. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore the rich literary landscape of our region.

For SMRLD customers who wish to participate in the crawl, passports will be available at each customer service desk. Participants must visit 5 libraries to be entered into a drawing for a $25 QT gift card. The passports must be turned in by November 2nd, with the winner drawn on the afternoon of Monday, November 3rd.

Customers from other libraries will be stopping by all month. When they visit SMRLD not only will they get a stamp in their passport, they may also choose a piece of candy and a wooden nickel as a treat for stopping by. Want to fill up you passport? Each SMRLD location, 2001 Delmar Ave and 2145 Johnson Rd is a different stop.
