Grand Re-Opening at Niedringhaus School

Please join us in celebrating the reopening of the downtown library at its temporary location, 2901 State Street. On Saturday, October 12, from 12 p.m.  to 4 p.m.,  a variety of events are planned for all ages.

• Kids help paint a mural for the library with local artist Jennifer Flores. (12 p.m.-4 p.m.)

• Experience new library technologies at the technology petting zoo: e-readers, borrowing e-books, and our new digital magazine collection. (12 p.m.-4 p.m)

• Representatives from the Madison County Health Department  host an informational  session on the Affordable Care Act and help with enrollment for health coverage. (1 p.m.-3 p.m.)

•  A shred truck from Shred-It allows each person to bring  up to 3 boxes of paper for FREE shredding. Also, a truck from the Dell Reconnect Technology Recycling with Goodwill program accepts any computer items to be discarded. (1 p.m.-3 p.m.)
